time for marshmellows!
trust me, they had a blast at Petrosains...they even when like 'oh miss cherry, this is the best science centre ever! i could email my painting! arrrk! =)'
frankly, I've never felt so HAPPY at work. this is more like a vacation for me! and boy, was it such a relief to settle everything before headed to work. I remember rushing and pushing myself beyond human, beyond maximum, to get Mr. Chuan's PR Theories (it's a killa subject) assignment done in order to peacefully be at work for one whole week. I have to say, for the first time everr, I finished my assignment a week earlier from the deadline, that is never me. Not to mention I also had such trouble at college about PTPTN loan and everything, I had everything squeezed to a day, wait, I mean less than 24 hrs. When I was rushing to see my boss, I remember having the weirdest agreement with a taxi driver even.
me: ane, swiss garden hotel *sweating and panting with luggages and packets of marshmellows*
ane: err..20 ringgit.
me: harr..don't like that lah, i really really need to get there, guna meter lar
ane: meter rosak, kl area jam lar miss
me: pls lah, i have to be there!
ane: ok, 18
me: 15!
ane: *muka tak puas* ok.
frankly speaking, i had a FANTASTIC time with bart (the boss i work with) and andrew (the boss who pays me), they make me feel so comfortable that I could be myself and I don't even have to try to impress them, they allow me to be who I am. and when I make terrible mistakes, they don't even scold me, u know i'd be really hard on myself lah right. because of them, I have learnt how to be more open, as in, more honest, and hit around the bush less, which really is a very good thing.
about the teachers, towards the end of program, we became like friends, the ladies were already like my girlfriends, talking about shopping, u know all those girly thing. and especially Pak Johan, who in my opinion looks too young for his age. anyway, we had such a great time together, we were able to hang out off working hours, me, bart and johan and sabastian and ganesh (who left early) had a perfect time, just drinking and talking.
last but NOT LEAST, the anak-anak, the ones I really didn't wana say goodbye to. they are 12 and adorable! I enjoyed myself goofing around with them. as young as they are, they are actually very matured in thoughts and tastes! come on, i see many of 'em owning blackberries. despite the good life and wealth, i must say they are the most well-mannered, humble, sweet people and I know I'll hear of them some years from now.
sigh, I really want to see them again but life goes on ey? we're now keeping in touch on facebook and msn, how cute. I actually quite love the sound of "miss cherry". I'm just waiting for them to be like, 18, 19 of age, that's when I'm around 25 years old? not too old right? then we could go hang out like friends. how nice.
apparently next work with Bart is with men and only men. oil rig men. rough men. gosh, I really don't know what to expect. =p
