One of my many firsts.

Back to a student life again. Sigh, was the weekend fast or what. This time, it was Suba and I and we had the time of our lives ( I know I said that the previous program) but this time it is truly different. We experienced really funny, incredible ‘firsts’.

From Rawang KTM station, we risked our safety by getting on a “taxi” which is not a taxi. Should I say, hitchhiking? But difference is, we had to pay lah. Hmm. We have no clue about the area and thought that bus might take us too long. The highway on Rawang is in need of lights and the journey in the jungle was pitch black (somemore say wanna walk in, my God!) and we were so relieved we got into an unknown car, because thankfully, the driver was such a helpful person so we saved our Karate emergency button this time haha.

The client is Talisman Malaysia Limited, an oilrig industry and I didn’t know what to expect but now, I’m very happy to have known them. They are one big happy family, I must say and they laugh at every single thing, ahh nice people. Also, it was an opportunity to meet Nazir and his wife, Eliza who are friends of our bosses. Very sweet couple who brought us to have “Steamed burger” and it was so healthy and tender!

The journey from Rawang to Jeram Besu, well, I was sleeping, only remembering Mr. Friday (ya nice name) and the big boss Mr. Choo offering snacks. Countryview Recreation Park in Jeram Besu is an awesome place! Owner Mr. and Mrs. Lee the multitaskers! It was my first time getting up, close and personal with horses named Diego and Alicia, gibbon named Jacky, lots of other animals too actually..baby goat..oh wait, u call them kid right? Kid, mama goat, papa goat (who’s one horny bastard) well apparently according to the resort crew, the papa goat did get horny because of me because of my female smell) urgh. Leopard cat, something that looks like turkey, slow lori who is soooooooo cute I want to hug it but we were told that it sprays something poisonous and potentially would send you to the hospital, scorpions, erm, a duck and ducklings. Previously, it was just elephants and I got excited. Imagine this time.

Now to put it easier, my job is basically to help out with anything, photography and reporting and I had the chance to do it on a motor boat! It was FAST! Breezy and bumpy oh I loved it! We were on Lipis river, it was funny, looking at them rafting, and Suba was tubing (meaning using only the float to float around the river). The river guides were explaining to me the history and geography of the whole place. Nice.

After the end of day 2, it was even more fun at the “after-party” haha, we were invited to drink, around only 10 or less constant drinkers and 75 or more cans of beer. It was a warm gathering, very sweet with inside jokes and yeah lots of stories told, actually and I can never regret this program. Oh yeah and did I tell you? That Syafiq thinks I’m 25 (actually that’s normal for people to assume), and James thinks I’m 29 (even worst). Do I really look that old? Gosh I need to do something about it. *Grabs facial mask* haha.

Time flies with them, after a psychological test and paintball, we were already headed home. I sat at the back with them in the bus and I had the best hospitality, with lots of snacks and conversation and oh they are so nice, it was also my first time exposed to a Sabahan card game called Lap Lap Poo, now that’s really funny. And I would like to especially thank Mr. Yassin for the nice dinner and company, what a nice man. I now love nature (but still have something against caterpillars), and I now know I can make friends wherever I go, and I once thought that was hard. Oh, on another note, I did not charge my hp for 3 days and full bar! Wow, the difference of being single!

Ok, back to real life, gotta go study. And oh, got rejected by Pavilion, as they said they don’t encourage family to work together. Ok, like whatever. And to the other companies I’ve applied to, I hope u have a lil bit of time and do read my e-mail before deleting. Sigh.
